On the back the handwritten contemporary note: „Presented by Miss Elizh. Smith Brompton Kent“. Pencil, Indian ink and watercolor. 91x118 mm. Backs: Plain. Circa 1810.
A scene entirely in the style of Jane Austen.
Remains of a fine paper adhesive strip at the top edge of the back, otherwise in very good condition.
