Peepshow "Nürnberg"
310195 Maker: Julius Stief, Nuremberg (?). Erinnerung an Nürnberg (Remembering Nuremberg). Peepshow with illustrated front board and 6 pieces of scenery, the last one with the castle in the background being pasted on the back board. Otherwise we see the town hall, the main square with Schöner Brunnen (Beautiful Fountain) and Frauenkirche (Our Lady’s Church)... Color lithography. 163x225 mm, circa 600 mm long. Backs: Plain. Circa 1900.
The front board is signed with the monogram „JS“. It has otherwise the inscriptions „MADE IN BAVARA“ (sic) and „D. R. G. M. Nº“.
Corners and edges of the boards rubbed and somewhat damaged, very good conservation inside.
