It's coffee time
310018 Maker: Jeremias Bermann (?) A fat woman, reclining in her arm-chair, drinks coffee, on the table in front of her a bowl with sweets... To the right her skinny servant is roasting the coffee, next to her sugar loaves etc. Inscribed in pencil at the back: „Druck nach einer Caricatur von Opitz (Original in unserem Besitz)“ [Print after a caricature by Opitz (original in our possession)]. Design: Georg Emanuel Opitz (1775-1841). Hand-col. copper engraving. 85x105 mm. Backs: Plain. Circa 1815.
