The publication lasted but a few years. Its aim was to inform the members of the association about the trends in the graphic trade and to do so, it has invited them to send samples. These are listed in the joined booklet. Of the original 266 submissions 171 are here on hand, plus 9 from 1889 and 1890 (2 folded ones). The majority comes from Germany and Austria-Hungary, but also Russia and even the USA are represented.
