310482 Альбом. Album of 22 cardboard sheets with 60 mounted colored drawings of folk patterns: Wall paintings inside and outside, friezes, stove pictures and some typical embroideries, so-called Wyschywanka, all with indication of their exact location in German. These are small villages in the vicinity of Kiev, Lviv (Lemberg), Dnipro and Uman. Brown cloth binding with embossed design and title in gold on the front cover. Watercolor, partly enhanced with gilt and gouache. 215x315 mm. Circa 1926.
Patterns are precisely marked, for example, „Zwischen den Fenstern in der Hütte“ (Between the windows in the cottage), „Im Hause am Ofen“ (In the house by the stove), „Fries auf der Scheune“ (Frieze on the barn)... The album itself is a Ukrainian make, it comes from the жовтенъ (October) factory in Kiev.
A small defect on the front cover, some light foxing, otherwise in very good condition.
