The piper of Hamelin

310304 GAMES Der Rattenfänger von Hameln (The Piper of Hamelin). Illustrated box with 2 game boards pasted on a folding cardboard, recto the game for 4 and verso for 6 players. Joined are 6 x 4 varicolored pieces and the rules on the inside of the lid. Color lith. 190x370 mm (box), 350x345 mm (game board). Circa 1920.
The deck follows the pattern of „Mensch ärgere Dich nicht“, it is a variant of Ludo. The pieces are rats standing on their rear legs. They are made of pewter and colored in yellow, green, red, black and blue, plus a set in metal color. The board is marked D.R.G.M. (Deutsches Reich Gebrauchs-Muster = German Empire registered design) and D.R.W.Z. (Deutsches Reich Waren-Zeichen = German Empire Trademark). Nicely illustrated.
