Splendid card in silk
310486 CONGRATULATIONS Embossed card covered with green silk and decorated with floral garlands, ribbons and ornaments. In the oval center lined with pink silk, Cupid throws his arrow at 2 doves he keeps tied. At the bottom a rectangle can be lifted to reveal a poem printed on orange silk.
128x94 mm. Backs: Handwritten name. Circa 1800.
