Album from circa 1850

310071 Maker: Johann Georg Kugler, Nuremberg (died 1894). ALBUM. Cloth, title in gilt on the front board and a frame with a raised decor of bindweed tendrils, leaves and blossoms on both boards which are both signed „J.G. KUGLER NBG.“ Inside circa 100 sheets of white and colored paper (blue, pink, brown, grey...) Gilt edge. 222x310 mm. Circa 1850.

J.G. Kugler was a manufacturer of leather fancies, cases, portfolios and cardboard items in the Bindergasse (advert in the Nürnberger Kurier of July 6, 1842, see books.google).

Faint small stains on the boards, unused, very good conservation.
