"A constant Heart is mine"
Stamp of Whitney, Worcester, MA, at the back and his embossed name on the envelope. „A constant Heart is mine.“ Greeting card. On the front a young man serenades his beloved at the window on the guitar. Border of flower garlands with embossed and gold printing, underlaid with colored papers, and decorated with a small chromo. In the original blind-tooled envelope (“Whitney Worcester Nº 2”), addressed to “Master Willie H. Jillson Willimantic Conn”, with stamp and postmark, dated FEB 13.
The house of the Jillson family still exists. The William Jillson Stone House is now a museum, it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is also the siege of the Windham Historical Society (wiki).
